What can I bring?

We accept gold, platinum, estate jewellery, and luxury watches. Items may be pristine, worn, or even broken. From cherished family heirlooms to jewellery you no longer wear, every piece is treated with respect and evaluated for its value. For security, we kindly ask that you bring a valid government-issued ID to complete the process.

We accept:

• Scrap gold in any condition, including broken chains and damaged jewellery
• Platinum jewellery of all styles and eras
• Estate jewellery and vintage heirlooms
• Luxury watches from renowned brands
• Diamond rings, pendants, and earrings
• Gemstone jewellery, including sapphires, emeralds, and rubies
• Gold coins, both modern and vintage
• Bullion bars or investment-grade precious metals
• Medallions, tokens, or collectable pieces crafted in gold or platinum
• Gold brooches, tie pins, and cufflinks
   

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. To ensure a private and personal experience, we encourage clients to book an appointment. This one-on-one consultation offers you complete privacy and dedicated time with one of our Client Advisors.

How does the process work?

Our Client Advisors will examine your jewellery in your presence. They will explain the details that determine its value and present you with an immediate offer. You may choose a direct payout, enhanced store credit, or even transform your jewellery into a newly bespoke-designed piece that reflects your story.

Is store credit worth more than a direct payout?

Yes. When you choose store credit, you receive a bonus value (25% more exclusively on Jewellery Exchange Event), allowing you to upgrade to your next dream piece at La Mine d’Or. Store credit may be applied toward any in-stock item in our store or used to commission a bespoke creation designed exclusively for you. Please note that store credit cannot be applied to already discounted items.

What if I’m not ready to sell?

There is never any obligation. Many clients begin with a complimentary appraisal to better understand the worth of their jewellery. You are welcome to take your time and make your decision whenever you feel ready.

Can I sell broken or mismatched pieces?

Absolutely. Even single earrings, broken chains, and pieces missing stones can hold value based on the precious metals and gems they contain.

How will I receive payment?

If you accept our offer, a secure payment process will be completed. Should you choose store credit, it will be applied immediately to your account and can be used toward your next purchase or a bespoke design.

Is there a minimum or maximum I can sell?

There is no minimum. Whether you bring a single ring or an entire collection, we are pleased to assist. For larger collections, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance so that we can provide the time and attention your pieces deserve.

Do you buy from non-clients?

Yes. The Jewellery Exchange is open to all.  Every guest receives the same level of care, transparency, and security.

Will my jewellery be tested or altered?

No. Every evaluation is conducted with respect and care. Testing is non-invasive, completed in your presence, and will never damage your jewellery.
